Steve Roggenbuck is staying at my house, my house

                This week begins a new segment I’m calling “Steve Watch-2012”. From February 3rd to February 8^th, come here for the latest and greatest updates about that literary mastermind, Steve Roggenbuck. He is staying with me this week in sunny Baltimore, Maryland, working on what many call ‘his masterwork, his Catch-22, his Gravity’s Rainbow, his Go Dog Go.” I think Steve Roggenbuck can create the ‘Go Dog Go’ of the boykitten movement. 

                I am proud to have such a famous houseguest. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine Steve Roggenbuck and me sharing the same place. Usually my dreams are more of the ‘I’m not living in crippling poverty’ variety where I can afford things like new clothes or Kombucha. Glad that Steve chose my apartment as a place to set up his world-wide boost network, if just for a short period of time. My Wi-Fi has become his Wi-Fi. Two internets have truly become one. 

                Steve has boosted me and my blog so much. I figure offering him a temporary shelter is the least I can do. Steve has reblogged me when no one else would, tweeted at me when no one else did, and remains one of the first people (I call them pioneers) to follow me on Twitter, when a whole 5 people did. To Steve I have nothing but the greatest thanks and appreciation for what he does. Plus, I can help boost him, by giving him another pillow. When he sleeps his head will be boosted, by the power of pillows. Hopefully Steve dreams of a bloggier world. I know I do. 

                We can listen to dubstep. We can listen to flubstep. In fact, thanks to my bathroom, we can even listen to tubstep, a new relevant sub-genre of dubstep. It is going to be pretty great. I can’t express the pure adrenaline rush I feel having Steve here. Right now I’m so excited I’m moving a mile an hour; unreasonably fast for a sloth such as myself. We can even listen to post-core, which is the foundation restoration of musical sensations. 

                During the course of the week I am going to be live-blogging our life together. It will be exciting. Together we shall map out the blog universe. Steve Roggenbuck is the cartographer of post-ironic positivity, dispensing nuggets of wisdom to the less-flarf savvy. 

                I hope the two of us shall combine to form some sort of dynamic blogging duo during this short time. I won’t be in any of Steve’s life-changing videos, but I will be on the sidelines, cheering him on silently.
